Employment History

Student Software Engineer at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP)
From February 2019 to May 2022 in Boulder, Colorado
At LASP my responsibilities included assisting research professionals develop ground software to process data from spacecraft. This position gave me a great interest in the field of aerospace, and many years of experience with C, Python, and SQL. In this position I wrote software to process, validate, and format large amounts of data and manipulate Oracle databases professionally. I later profiled, optimized, and documented these programs. Additionally, I worked with Jira, Confluence, and Git in this position. This was a great position that taught me a lot about the software development pipeline and working collaboratively as a team!
Software Engineer at the Numerica Corporation
From February 2023 to June 2023 in Fort Collins, Colorado
After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I worked as a software engineer at the Numerica Corporation, a small business defense contractor. My responsibilities included working with a small team in an Agile environment delivering high quality C++ applications. Here I gained experience with continuous integration using Bamboo, using Git in depth, and linear algebra. I ended up leaving this position amicably for family reasons, but Numerica helped me learn and grow a lot as a programmer.
Freelance
From June 2023 to present in Fort Collins, Colorado
Currently pursuing graphical programming and website development. I have gained experience making websites utilizing React, Next.js, Tailwind, WebGL, and JavaScript. I have also become familiar with the Unreal Engine, Blender, Substance Painter, OpenGL, GLSL, and more.
